Connecticut Regional EMS Councils

The Connecticut Regional EMS Councils now has a presence on Facebook! Stop on by and like us and get upcoming training information and other important news delivered right to your facebook page!

The EMS Regional Councils are partnered with the Connecticut Department of Public Health to implement state EMS policy and programs at the regional and local level. There are 5 seperate regional councils working together and with the Department of Public Health. The councils are governed by volunteer boards. The presidents of these boards make up the Council of Regional Presidents (CORC) Board, which helps to coordinate the work between the councils. The Regional EMS Coordinators are based in Hartford at the Department of Public Health and serve as a link between local EMS providers and OEMS.

Yale New Haven has begun construction on the Ambulance Entrnace for the Adult ED. Please use the Ambulatory Emergency Entrance on York St during construction. York St is a one-way street and is best accesses from Howard Avenue.
